NEGLECTED SPACES

The ever progressing urbanization process creates unique dialogues between the developed and the unstable parts of a city.
This project defines new ‘ghost’ spaces, constantly challenging the urban environment and its qualities. It erases the past and disrupt the future, leaving it as a deceptive space in present
where events used to, will or will never happen.
Gal recruited his nephew living in Berlin to collect sensory samples of urban spaces he never visited. Forming a dialogue between those and the ‘unstable’ places in his town Be’er Sheva,
Gal is translating the urban experience into words, creating imaginary hierarchies, borders and architectural divisions.
