A Whatsapp chat dialogue brings up everyday moments; family, home, work environments. This dialogue rises questions about identity, belonging, surroundings, and home.
Cultural and aesthetic gaps between Berlin and Jaffa. Hybrid languages and tensions that exist between those two life spheres accore - One picture looks different in German and similar in Hebrew at times, but possibly these are the same lives translated in different languages. The streets reflect us; Jaffa contains Berlin and Berlin contains Jaffa within it. Either way, there are times the common is wide, and times we feel greatly distant.
The rule:
One can upload pictures and videos as a visual subject of a conversation, or react using the same method. Words can only be added as a title to one’s visual message, not as a comment in itself.
