LIRON+TOM

BLN-JLM BILLBOARD LAMINATION

Liron and Tom document their daily walking routes, one in Jerusalem and the other in Berlin, through the posters hung on their city walls.
The poster, which has been commonly used as a communication tool since the 18th century, was adopted and used as the main communication tool between the two designers.
Each poster that was sent from one city was responded by a poster from the other, forming a graphic dialog and a visual archive of the cities cultural contexts and atmospheres.
Those dialogues were then printed and hybridized, manipulated using layering techniques, arising hidden meanings those cities imply, highlight the similarities and differences between them, and transmitting new mixed messages to the public.
